Nick Coleman - Bits & Bytesactor / photographer / jack-of-all-tradesGlobal Warming Isn't All Bad
It's amazing how a little bit of warm weather smack in the middle of winter can bring the city to life. Crazy, to think that this time last year we were digging ourselves out of a fairly debilitating blizzard! I took a few spare minutes after rehearsal to walk in the warm air, and couldn't resist snapping a few photos.
On the Way to SetBrooklyn is shiny today... on the way to set for a test shoot. Small crew, focus totally on scene work. Looking forward to working with the fabulous Rebecca White! 11/11/11 11:11amHere's what I was doing on this momentous event... photographing Associates for one of the biggest law firms in the world :) Photo PhridayFrom an early morning bike ride at the beach. Target PracticeSpent some time at the rifle range in Chelsea with my brother today... I'm a little rusty. Commercial Print = 10 Second 'Audition'Commercial print auditions have to be the most impersonal of all auditions. They call them a 'go-see' for a reason... all you do is literally strike a pose (or 2), and have your picture taken. That's it. Sometimes you wait 30 minutes to an hour for the priveledge... and in cases like today, including the round trip elevator ride to the 8th floor, maybe a total of 4 minutes. And I filled out a form and waited my turn. Glamorous? You betcha...Midnight Manhattan Ride Through Hurricane IreneNot quite as exciting as you'd expect. :) Life Should Be So SweetThe kids at this wedding are so HAPPY! Such a great reminder of how much wonder is in the world... and wow, what great photo opportunities! Cage MatchIf you can spare $5 on a Thursday night, this is money well spent... hi-larious! What I'd Look Like at the White House, I Think
"People want leadership, Mr. President, and in the absence of genuine leadership, they'll listen to anyone who steps up to the microphone. They want leadership. They're so thirsty for it they'll crawl through the desert toward a mirage, and when they discover there's no water, they'll drink the sand."
